When I post......

I go crazy...sorry for so many at once. Don't get overwhelmed! Take them one at a time!!!

Happy Valley

I wasn't sure what I had expected. Something preachy maybe. Something dry. Something amateurish (it's filmmaker Ron William's first documentary). Instead, its hard to describe how affected I was by this film.
This movie does not judge the Utah County kids who died or their parents. As Det. Doug Lambert said before it started, it is about "good people making bad choices"-some horrific. The film also theorizes why Utah is #1 in anit-depressant prescriptions, #1 in prescription drug abuse, and #1 in suicide in every single age category. I'll just say this...Happy Valley-Don't miss it and bring the Kleenex... although it was hard for me to watch because it hit a little too close to home, the ending credits did mention that the proceeds would go towards helping addicted individuals through rehab, which I think is a pretty worthy cause! Especially for someone who doesn't pay full price for any movie!

Murder Mystery Dinner

Just in case I don't post for a while, I have been known to do that...you have some Murder Mystery Dinner pictures to look forward too! John and Michelle Schmidt have planned this for a while. We are doing it tomorrow on April fools and I can't wait!!!
I'll set it up for you....
Till Death Do Us Part: Your presence is requested to celebrate the union of Becky Giovanni to Stanley Simpson with a wedding reception you won't ever forget....Speak now or forever a killer goes free!
Steve is Chris, the Security Guard and I am Stacey, the cousin of the Bride.
Here is just a little taste of what you are in for. John and Michelle live in his Grandparents basement... this is the Dining Room, complete with gold leaf cage. Stay tuned and happy April Fools tomorrow!

More Zoo Pics!

Heidi and Paige

The Zebras

The Monkeys...this guy is seriously freaky. First of all look how he is sitting and look how mad he looks. I didn't realize how mad he looked until I uploaded the pictures when we got home!

Steve and Grayden

And the Giraffe

Amy's Birthday Bash!!!

So for my Birthday I requested a day at the Zoo, which is exactly what I got! (I haven't been to the Zoo I'm pretty sure since I was a Sophomore!!!) Seeing that my birthday was on a Thursday Steve and I decided to take Friday off to celebrate! Wendy brought Carter, Jordyn and Grayden and Heidi brought Blake and Paige. Robyn was not in the mood to walk around the zoo (She was about to pop....she had Hayden on the 21st! Pictures to come soon...) and Britney has been having contractions and the doctor told her to take it easy seeing that she is due in June! We at least had a chance to stop by and say hi to her, TJ and Gage.
My Birthday was probably the best yet! Here in the Beardshall family we like to celebrate Birthdays  just like they were a National Holiday. Which is just what we did.

Here is Steve with Jordyn and Blake. They would not let go of his hands! They were practically fighting over which one got to hold his hand, hence he is holding both of their hands! Steve has a hard time with germs and he was feeling a bit claustrophobic. That makes me laugh just thinking about it!!! Wow our world is going to be turned up side down when we have kids isn't it?

The Rinos

The Cougar, not for the BYU fans though! Boo to the Cougars, this was a fun picture though!
The peacock
The Elephant, I am digging bum pictures lately!
And one more of our Elephant friends!!!

Guitar Hero!!!!

If you want to play a fun game then look no further than Guitar Hero! Katie my sister and Zach her boyfriend got us hooked. We had everyone over for dinner a few weeks ago and played this afterwards. As you can see we even got Steve's parents Roger and Joanne to play....not an easy feat!
Steve convinced Katie and Zach to leave the game with us for the night, we ended up with it for 3!!! Steve had the next day off and actually played most of the day. And for any of you that know Steve that is saying something, he hates Video Games!!!!!
I am happy to report that Steve and I can now play pretty well on the medium level and my mom even went out and bought a Wii and this game so we can play it when we are over there. She says it's for when the family gets together, but I know she secretly plays it when we are not there so she can beat us!!!

Joanne was pretty good...Roger on the other hand, not so much! Sorry Roger!!!

Just another Presidents Day!

Okay... I am pretty peeved that most of my pictures are not loading today. I am pretty sure that they are too big of files and I photoshopped some of them and I can only imagine that is why they are having a hard time. These are not even my favorites out of the bunch! But seeing that I am getting so many complaints (even threats) to update I must post what I have.

So here we go.... for Presidents Day weekend we have been going down with Johnny and Jane to St. George with everyone for the past few years. Steve and I were planning on going but his schedule changed last minute leaving us home with the Davis's...GREAT!!! No what?

We decided to make the most of the day. Rachel and I had a pretty good time considering making the most of the day to Steve and Andrew meant eating at an all you can throw away buffet (The Chines Gourmet on 4500 South, I only ate salad and ice cream if you know what I mean! You never know what you are going to get!) and shooting guns. We had to bring the dogs of course. Wow Chuck just isn't very photogenic so I'm glad that Gus was there. Again I would have posted my favorite pictures but this stinkin' website is not working today!!!!

We actually had a blast, although I am pretty sure that Chuck is deaf now! Anybody know doggy sign language?

Davis the sharp shooter!!!

Photoshop

I decided to purchase Photoshop with my Christmas money this year. I am still getting the hang of it but what a difference it makes!
I am really needing the practice so if anyone is interested in getting their pictures taken just let me know.
Here is an example of how great Photoshop is....

Woodstock

Meet the newest member of Team Beardshall.....Woodstock or Woody for short. Other than the near death experience that he had with Chuck I think he really likes it here! Do you think that we need to get a Zoo Operators license yet?

Papa

"Every man dies-Not every man really lives"
I think Papa really lived. Papa was one of the most Christ Like people that I knew. I am so happy that I had a chance to know and love such an extraordinary man!

We will miss you papa
