september 10 . super powers
I realize that the last few posts have given a new meaning to the "lazy days of summer" because we find ourselves in the same spots doing the same things...but can you blame me for having too much fun wasting time with these kidos?
As I looked at Will (this particular day) I realized that we all have super powers.
Will's super power, lately, is to roll over.
Really slowly...
Oh getting tired here. That rolling over is hard work...
So is all the drool this kid produces....
But he's always so happy when he gets to his back....
And although its not a super power, he has the cutest hands and toes....
Katy's super power (aside from being a person I'd like to spend all my time with because she is so much fun), is to fly.
And make me laugh so hard I almost drop her head on my head....
And it's the care free times like this that I love my job the most....
And that always makes me feel like a superhero....
****ha ha I wrote august 10, instead of september on todays picture....too lazy to change that!

september 7
So lately Katy really is hating the camera. It's not like I have it in her face all the time (ha ha, who am I kidding?)! Well I whipped it out the other day when we were cleaning and lounging in our PJs, to take some pics of Will.
Then I thought it would be funny to see what his little bald head would look like with a mop on top of it....
Not sure he appreciated my thoughts on the matter.
Oh bummer....morning face for Amy. Hey still gotta take one for the team and post the memories, right?
Well Katy heard us from her room and decided to come and take a look at what we were up to.
And this started happening....
And this...
So glad Katy decided to join us for our fun. I'll try to make it fun next time I want to take a picture of her. She's always a good reminder that sometimes you just need to make a funny face!

someone likes rice cereal
I decided to let Will climb up in the drivers seat and take control of that spoon. He will be an expert before we know it!

august 20 . sugar coma
We had so much fun with Britney and her kidos at Liberty Park. We actually headed to the Aviary first...which, let's be honest, was not super impressive. But we made the most of it.
Afterwards we headed over to the splash park. I know that people say that Liberty Park is scary, but I love it. Good times and fun had by all. We grabbed a spot under a shady tree and the kidos went to town exploring.
Brynn got stung by a bee on her foot right after this picture was taken. Poor thing.
Brynn hung out with us most of the rest of the afternoon, because she said her foot was bothering her. She wanted to hold Will. It made me laugh when she said that Will was so heavy that he was going to crack her in half!!!
Katy had a blast with TJ and Gage (after she lost Brynn to the bee sting). We are so lucky to have such great cousins that are so sweet to her. They both kept checking on her to see if she was ok when they were climbing all over that place.
I do believe the best part of our trip, though, was the cotton candy sugar coma! 2 dollars of pure deliciousness....worth every penny!
