Marysvale

So a while back Steve and Roger planned a trip to Marysvale. I had never heard of it, but I'm always up for an adventure so I was all in. A few months ago we took our road trip down to Highway 12 and drove through. And from the outside I was not too impressed, but it's whats on the inside that counts right? That or you have to get into the heart of Marysvale to really appreciate all it has to offer.

We stayed at the cutest place with about 5 cabins. We stayed in Duck.

Will liked it, it seemed. The first day we drove down and headed out on a ride. The cool thing about Marysvale is we were able to leave on a ride straight from our cabin, you can ride your 4wheelers all over the place.

While we were on our drive I could tell that I was defiantly getting sick. In fact I was pretty convinced that my throat tickle I got before we left had turned into strep throat! I could hardly talk. Lucky for me I was on vacation with my family and they took good care of me. I got to sleep and lay around most of the night.

That night it rained and rained and rained....it even snowed! We didn't much feel like going out for a ride the next morning so we opted to take the truck up the canyon. I was impressed that it was a mining canyon and we got to see some really cool old mine shafts and such. We also got to see some more snow.

Katy and Steve actually had a snowball fight...illustrated in the wet behinds here!

Katy was in heaven, she was having so much fun!

The fall colors were so beautiful. I am so GLAD we went when we did (even though the weather didn't corporate as well as we would have liked).

By day three I was starting to feel much better and it was a beautiful day so we opted to head out on another ride. Although it was beautiful, it was cold...so we had to bundle up!

Katy was ready to put her new, pink, helmet to good use.

Steve is always a good time, so you can imagine we had a BLAST!

Grandma Joanne is always prepared and brought a nice snuggly blanket. I'm pretty sure they were telling each other secrets!

We also saw a ton of wildlife. Mostly wild turkeys, we saw some peacocks (not sure if they were wild? no idea there), and a good amount of deer.

Like I said, always a good time!

Our last ride was up to Bulion Falls. The colors were beautiful!

Go Utes!!!

I tell ya, there is so much BEAUTY in our own backyard. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of places that are foreign and exotic that I would love to travel to...but I want to check out what is in our country first! This was a great reminder at how beautiful Marysvale really was!

Look at that, Steve is such a stud! I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing person!

There is Team Beardshall right there! Good lookin crew!

On the way home Roger found us a super cute little farmers market. They had about every kind of pumpkin you could ever imagine.

Katy, of course, found the animals...cats to be exact. I told her she could pick one up if she wanted.

There was a new litter out an about according to the owner.

She quickly found out that those new kitties have really sharp nails!

We even got to go on a little adventure in a cute corn maze with a gourd ending!

Yup, even though there is a dog's butt in this picture...I LOVE it of Steve and Will, so so cute!

Thanks for helping us plan such a fun trip, and for taking such great care of me while we were down there!

Good bye!

This looks like a really pretty place. The waterfall is gorgeous! I'm jealous you have 4-wheelers!
