Freakin' Freezing

I think Dr. Evil said it best when he told Mr. Bigglesworth that "It's Freakin' Freezing in here!"
I am so sick of the cold weather! Hopefully by my birthday we will see some nice Spring changes! I guess I would have a better outlook on things if I could hit the slopes! Enjoy the COLD weather!!!

Oh baby I love your Waves

Question One: Do you see any similarities in these pictures?

Question Two: Which would you rather wake up to?

My vote is for Picture One! Too bad we had to wake up to Picture Two! I knew that it was snowing but had no idea that the wind blowing so hard would do this! Good thing we have 4 Wheel Drive, other wise we wouldn't have made it to stake conference! I think half of the stake got snowed in. It took us 2 hours to shovel the drive way, can we say snowblower?

President Gordon B Hinckley

"Great is your power for good. Marvelous are your talents and devotion.
Tremendous is your faith and your love for the Lord, for His work,
and for His sons and daughters. Continue to live the gospel. Magnify it
before all of your associates. Your good works will carry more weight
than any words you might speak." - President Gordon B. Hinckley Stand

I found a neat article click here.

On a well deserved break, though I'm sure  he is working harder than ever!
He will be missed!

Party City

Visa Freestyle International
Seeing that we live in Utah and have the Greatest Snow on Earth, we though it would only be fitting to attend the Visa Freestyle International at the Deer Valley Ski Resort. There were two nights of events, we went up on Saturday night.

We got up there about 7:00. We knew it was going to be cold so we dressed appropriately. I was planning on staying for the concert and the Fireworks. Steve was not so excited about that (he doesn't like when weird drunk people are surrounding him, can you blame him!). I tell you what though by the time we had watched the Moguls competition I was spent. I couldn't feel my face let alone anything!!!!
This picture is of the women's gold medal winner. Don't worry she was from the USA! And as you  can see in the picture above this...there were a LOT of people there. For a free event I would say it was money well spent!

Perry City or BUST

Mom and I were able to go up to Perry to visit the Barkers. Britney was so nice to have us up. We got to see their new house, it's HUGE. I'm excited for them to move in. Britney also told us that she is going to be having a girl! I'm excited to meet her in June. I think Britney was shocked when she found out. The weird thing is that I can only imagine them with boys....so I guess you could say that I was shocked too!

After Dinner we were able to hang out a bit. Mom and TJ were doing some Yoga moves when Gage decided that it would be a good idea to "ride grandma". We all had a pretty good laugh. As you can see in the picture here, mom is straining her neck to get a good picture and Gage is blurry! What a good Grandma!
Unbenounced to my mother, TJ was feeling a bit too free that night and was letting them go. Britney and I couldn't stop laughing at TJ and Gage every time they would bend over! Mom and I had a great time going over there!

Cinema

If you can believe it Steve and I went to a movie the following week. Our rule is if you are dying to see the movie you will see it opening weekend and pay the full price, otherwise it is new when it comes to the dollar theater. I just though it looked so funny so I convinced Steve to come with me. He was planning on it being a sappy chick flick. I think he was pleasantly suprised to find that he was probably laughing the loudest in the theater.
Beardshall and Beardshall give this movie two thumbs up and 3 and 1/2 stars!

Jazzy

Bryson, Angela and Talia were nice enough to invite us to a Jazz game in one of his work's suites. I tell you what, that's the way to watch a game. Bryson and Angela laughed at us when we showed up in our Jazz apparel. Hey what can I say, we are fans? I guess they had a good time because a few weeks later they invited us to a Flash game with the gang. **See Bryson and Angela's blog for more details, I forgot my camera both times! Lame of me! Click here for the link**
Thanks Duncan's for keeping us entertained!

Year End Roundup

So Christmas was great. I had such a great time. Of course we opened presents at about 2 AM on Christmas Eve. Steve is lucky that I am so nice. I am the type of person that wants to get up at 6 AM. I can only imagine that one day when we have kids I will be so excited for Christmas that I will be waking them up! What I love most about Christmas is spending time with family.
Christmas Eve we had the Beardshall White Elephant party at the Olson's new house. They are always so nice to have us over. We got some good things. We even tried to bring the spider Steve got from Bryson, no one wanted it for some reason. Weird?

Here is Steve with Jordyn's "Chuck" puppy she got from Santa

Christmas morning we went to the Beardshall's for breakfast and exchanged gifts. Heidi and Kyle even got Steve his favorite movie.....a little movie called Return to OZ. How creepy is that! We all had a good laugh. The strange thing is that we haven't watched it yet, I think that Steve is avoiding it.
When we had our fill of the Beardshalls we headed to mom's house. This year we switched things up a bit and just did Christmas on an individual bases instead of all getting together. I was not liking this idea until we decided to have a get together afterwards at my aunt Dana's house. It was so good to see everyone! Okay I am getting off track, we had a blast at my moms. We had lunch/dinner. After dinner we watched a movie. I think I fell asleep, Steve actually hogged the fireplace the whole time. Kind of strange for someone how always complains of it being hot!
Last but not least we headed to Grandma and Grandpa B's house for a family get together. More food of course! All in all it was a perfect Christmas.

Slacker!!!!

Need I say more? Luckily Steve and I have been writing in our journals every weekend, so I can look back and get you up to speed!
