Murder, Mystery and a little bit of Dinner!!!!

If you are looking for a good time call Jon and Michelle Schmidt and have them plan a murder mystery dinner at their place!!! They live in Jon's grandparents basement on the Bonnieville Golf Course. This house is the perfect setting for an evening such as this.
I was suprised at how detailed the story got. I think we all did a pretty good job of getting into character....although it was hard not to laugh.
We all pulled together in the end and figured out who the murder was. I didn't guess right, but it was very hard. There were so many suspecious people there!!! I will walk you through the night with the following photos. I got some of these from Jon and Michelle last night before they left on their trip today.......
The Wedding Party, as you can see a very happy family and security guard!!!

Amy (Stacey Sultry) and Steve (Chris Constable). I was the cousin of the bride Becky. I am still heart broken over my ex-boyfriend, Wade Willimgton (and best man). Is Stacey coming to the wedding purely as a family obligation...or do I have another agenda? Steve was the hotel security officer. The hotel doesn't usually require security for most weddings. However, the rules are a little different when the bride is the daughter of a rumored mob boss!

Rachel (Gina Giovanni) and Andrew (George Giovanni). Rachel was a bridesmaid and brides sister. Gina has always been the overlooked little sister... why should tonight be any different? Davis was the uncle of the bride. George wasted away his portion of the family fortune about as fast as he can consume a bottle of tequila. Becky may be the only real tie he has left to re-gaining a family fortune.

Angela (Marianna Giovanni) and Bryson (Tony Giovanni). Angela was the mother of the bride. She loves her lavish lifestyle. Bryson was the father of the bride and suspected mob boss. He does not like his new son-in-law and does not want to pass the family business to him.

The lovely bride and groom. Marin (Becky Giovanni) and Luke (Stanley Simpson). Marin was the bride and she has never been so happy. She is determined to make sure that NO ONE ruins her wedding day! Luke was the groom. He feels lucky to be gaining a wife and a family with wealth, something that he has never had before.

Jane (Darlene Simpson) and Johnny (Harry Hitt). Jane was the sister of the groom. She always wanted a sister...but not this one. How far will she go from keeping Becky from becoming a member of the family? Johnny was the wedding crasher. Does he know the bride or groom?

Michelle (Brenda Simpson) and Jon (Brutus Simpson). Michelle was the mother of the groom. She has spent her life looking for a way to get rich. Brenda's new occupation as insurance sales woman does not seem to be the answer. Jon was a groomsman and the grooms brother. He is the overprotective older brother and business partner. Is Brutus' control over his little brother in question now that Becky is in his life?

Emilee (Trisha Trinket) and Lance (Wade Wilmington). Emilee was the best friend of the bride. She will do anything to insure Becky's happiness on her wedding day. Conversely, Trisha believes Becky would do anything for her in return (and possibly has). Lance was the best man. He has been dating Trisha, the made of honor. Their relationship started as an affair but has it grown into true love?

The wedding party enjoying dinner together.

The scene of the crime. As you can see Steve is taking charge of this one...he is working on her chalk outline right now. You can see how distressed everyone is. The funny thing is that Marin was supposed to hit the ground when the lights went out. It was still pretty light out so it was funny watching Marin trying to decide if the lights were out. She gave a wonderful performance!

As you can see in Brutus' face...this is a pretty serious matter.

Even through all the commotion Brenda was still trying to sale life insurance policies. Michelle won best costume. As you can see she made the most of living with Jon's grandparents. This is one of grandma's numbers.

Tensions were building as we were all trying to figure out who the killer was!

Some of the evidence!!!

A night of fun. I would highly recommend a murder mystery dinner. Make sure you have Jon and Michelle put it on...they did a great job! Thanks guys!!!
