I tried to call you tonight, but I'm sure you didn't hear the phone. My sister-in-law says that some friends of hers were just talking about how you can get a waterproof cast. They don't like to put them on kids because evidently they are a little more itchy, so you sort of have to insist, but it means that it is way less hassle in the bath and they can go swimming and there is no mildew. Anyway, I don't know when your appointment is, but you may want to ask about it.
This is how we spent our 4th of July....how about you? Hard cast goes on this week. I'll tell you about it then. Bummer!

what happened? i hear about kids who break their arms alot, but i don't hear about broken legs very much! poor thing, i hope she's ok.
