Yum, we all scream for ice cream. Especially if it's from Leatherby's. They seriously have THE best ice cream in town! Sadly Steve had never been there before. So we took him. So I know this is totally lame and I am embarrassed to even admit but I have seen about 2 and 1/2 episodes of John and Kate plus 8. Sad I know. I think it was on the half that I watched that they went out for ice cream for dinner. I don't know something about it was a family tradition to go out and get ice cream for dinner at the end of summer.
HA, what a good excuse. Let's go. Steve opted for a sandwich but Katy and I went for it with our sunday. Homemade ice cream with homemade fudge and marshmallow cream! Oh and whipped cream on top, hold the cherry and the nuts!!!! Yum!
Really Katy had already grabbed a spoon before it was even placed on the table and she went to town. This is an aspect, sadly, that comes from me! Ha, sweet tooth for sure. Let it be noted that not only did she grab a spoon, but she has one in each hand. That a girl!
Her face here is saying to me..."seriously this is dinner?!?"It was the most delicious dinner I had all summer! Steve got in on our Sunday too and said that it was really good. So there you have it. They have good ice cream according to Steve...the non sweet tooth!
Thanks Jon and Kate, i think we may have a new family tradition! Just too bad that it caps the end of summer. Welcome fall!
